GAELS LE CHÉILE
Bringing together Scottish and Irish Gaelic culture through language, music & dance!

An Lòchran and Conradh na Gaeilge Glaschú present the third in our series of events celebrating Scottish & Irish Gaelic culture in Glasgow.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 26th

COIS TINE / TAIGH CÈILIDH
An evening of music, song, story and dance!
Oidhche de cheòl, òrain, sgeulachd is dannsa!
Oíche le Ceol, Amhrán, Scéal agus damhsa!

Location: Premier Inn (Elfinstone Suite), 80 Ballater Street, G5 0TW
Time: 8pm Cost: £5

Featuring performances from local Irish & Scottish musicians and singers including Ceoltóirí Chonradh na Gaeilge singing group and musicians, singers & dancers visiting from Trinity College Dublin

‘Cois Tine’or ‘Taigh Cèilidh’ both refer to traditional evenings where people would gather to play music, sing, dance and share stories.
We hope with our series of events we can capture the spirit of such nights and also give a unique opportunity for the Gaels around Glasgow to come together.

LANGUAGE CLASSES
Clasaichean Cànain / Ranganna Teanga

Irish Conversation Classes at Beginner & Intermediate & Advanced levels
Time: 10am - 1pm & 2pm – 4pm

Gàidhlig Classes at Beginner & Intermediate/Advanced levels
Time: 10am – 1pm

Cost: £5 (£3 conc.) half-day / £10 (£6) full day

SINGING WORKSHOP
Bùthan-Obrach Seinn
Gàidhlig singing workshop w/ Gillebride MacMillan
Time: 2pm – 5pm Cost: £5
