As part of Féile na Gaeilge Glaschú 2013 (Glasgow’s Irish Language Festival), Conradh Na Gaeilge Glaschú and Irish Pages, with The Scottish Writers Centre, present a unique evening celebrating the written word in Irish (Gaeilge), Scottish Gaelic (Gàidhlig) and Scots.
Máire Wren: renowned Irish poet from Gaoth Dobhair, Co Donegal.
Colette Ní Ghallchóir: also from Co Donegal, reading from her poetry collections Idir dhá Ghleann and An Chéad Chló.
Aonghas MacNeacail: one of the foremost contemporary poets in the three tongues of Scotland.
Andrew Philip: highly regarded poet and one of the two Scots Language Editors of Irish Pages.
Evening will include some traditional songs also, plus free refreshments/ glass of wine.
